ROCK THE HILL 2, June 2019
Following the success of last year, we decided to Rock the Hill again. On a lovely balmy evening, a larger attendance, upgraded stage and two acts entertained a very warm audience.

Alix Anthony delivered another ballistic performance, in a set that lasted three hours.

NORTH DEAN V SPEEN FAMILY CRICKET MATCH, MAY 2019
Young Sam Mudie’s first two shots were sixes! Worried about losing all the match balls in the field so no one could else keep play, he kindly toned it down a little thereafter.
Not to be outdone by his son, veteran batsman Jerry Mudie showed he still has what it takes, demonstrating great style and panache with the willow blade.
Man of the match, young Jack Luckett-Walsh, connects beautifully to test the field with another well struck shot. Jack proved to be a demon bowler as well as a handy batsman. A future Stuart Broad in the making perhaps?
North Dean leave the field for a well earned tea after setting Speen CC an impossible innings to follow!
